Professional Makeup Application: Our hair and makeup artist Annie Williams uses airbrush technology to ensure flawless coverage and glowing skin, plus all clients receive a complimentary natural lash application.

Professional Dry Hair-Styling: For clients who want dry hair-styling, we create beautiful beachy waves.

The Client Closet: We can style you from head to toe. Every session includes access to our client wardrobe closet.

Private Dressing Room: You’ll enjoy your own private room and bathroom while you are in session with us. Our large client room is a space where you can relax in between sets with your own private bathroom right in the room. 

Complete Pose Direction: You do not need to know how to pose or be a “model.” Chrissy poses each and every client from head to toe in poses that flatter and flaunt your feminine shape. 

Emotion & Facial Expression Coaching: If you’re not photogenic or afraid your boudoir portraits will make you look like a deer caught in the headlights, Chrissy’s got you!! Chrissy uses the same techniques used by actors and models to convey emotion, and portray a candid and relaxed look.

From the moment I stepped into Chrissy's studio, I knew I would be taken care of by her and her fabulous makeup artist Annie. They were quick to put me at ease with their high and bubbly energy. It felt like we have known one another for ages. I am already looking forward to another session with them in the future. See below for a more detailed take on my experience.

Once I sat down for hair and makeup, Annie listened to my vision and made suggestions and clarified multiple times that she will change and redo anything if I do not love it. She also uses airbrush makeup techniques, so the makeup felt light and nice on my skin. I loved how she made my brows look natural and not a stenciled stamp. Then gave me luscious curls to toss and play with for my shoot. She makes sure everything looks great and leaves before the start of the photo session to provide privacy for the client.

For the duration of the shoot, it was just Chrissy and I. She goes over wardrobe choices, body stretches to optimise photo angles and a whole private client room to relax, take breaks, change, and stretch in. Once we started our session, I quickly realised that not only was I getting a fierce cheerleader but an endorphin filled afternoon too. She had me in giggle fits the whole time but caught AMAZING pictures by providing angles for me to mirror by going high and low (on a stool/floor) literally to get all the shots. Not once did I feel uncomfortable and crappy. Her bubbly personality and professionalism was everything I wanted and hoped for.
She never pushed me to do anything I did not feel comfortable with, and once you book with her, she sends you enough prep guides (make sure to read them multiple times thoroughly) to get your prepared. Therefore, our session went brilliantly and without hiccups.

My session with Chrissy was AMAZING! I walked into the studio feeling nervous and unsure of myself and thanks to Chrissy and Annie I left feeling beautiful and confident. Annie did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup, she gave me the boost of confidence I needed to get the photo session started.

I’m not very photogenic and I was nervous on posing but Chrissy walked me through every pose and kept me laughing the whole time. It didn’t take long for Chrissy to make me feel comfortable enough to let loose and trust her with the process. On my reveal day Chrissy did not disappoint, all of the images were stunning and left me feeling so many emotions.

I booked with Chrissy in March 2024 and it is one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. She is an amazing photographer and her hair and makeup stylist Annie is just as amazing! Chrissy knows how to make you feel comfortable and make your experience fun while also hyping you up and making you feel like the sexiest woman on the planet. She has so much knowledge about what flatters you, as far as wardrobe goes as well as poses and angles. I looked at having a boudoir session years ago and kept coming back to it but never had the confidence to take the plunge until I saw Chrissy’s featured reviews on her website. It is definitely a nerve wracking decision but I’m telling you, go with Chrissy and you will not regret it she is spectacular in every way and extremely talented. After years of struggling with my body image I feel I have come to a place where I feel strong, confident and empowered in my body. Call it Pilates, being in my 30s or having a partner who loves me for every stretch mark and bit of cellulite but I wanted to do something to commemorate this time in my life. I found Chrissy through a mutual friend and I am so glad I did. Chrissy is a champion of women. Immediately upon meeting Chrissy and Annie (makeup artist and hair stylist) they make you feel as if you’ve been life long friends. I spent a lot of time just talking to them about life, relationships and the struggle of being a woman. This led to a feeling of mutual trust. Chrissy cheered me on the entire time. She felt like a combination of a hype woman and a proud mama. Annie did beautiful hair and makeup that allowed Chrissy to do her thing behind the camera. These are pictures I plan to gift to my fiancé but they’re also something I’ll have for myself for the rest of my life. Chrissy is the ultimate hype woman. I was still pretty shy when I made it to her studio, but she immediately made me feel comfortable. By the time we started shooting, I felt good, but by the end of the shoot I felt unbeatable. I have never felt so confident in myself before. She also has a phenomenal hair and make up artist to pamper you and bring out your natural beauty. Chrissy will help you with styling your sets and directing you into the most gorgeous poses. I recently had a session with Chrissy and it was 10/10.  Chrissy and Annie are fantastic!  Annie did a great job on hair and makeup. Chrissy made me feel relaxed and confident while taking the photos.  She is very professional and helpful. She provided very detailed information, from skin care and hydration to wardrobe selection, to ensure my photo shoot would be a success.  The studio is amazing and there are many options. The only way to book is through our Booking Guide. It’s an online self guided consult that goes over every aspect of booking a session with Portrait by Chrissy Boudoir.

We suggest booking your session at least 90 days prior to needing your final order however, at minimum 6 weeks weeks prior to needing your final product.

At this time we are not booking men or couples for boudoir.

We do not photograph styles of boudoir that include kink, BDSM, erotica, etc… as those are a separate genre and technically not boudoir.

No! You have full control over how you are photographed and nude is not a necessity for doing boudoir. How you want to be photographed is 100% up to you.

We do not show any image of any client without written consent.

Our studio is centrally located in Downtown, Houston TX in the historic Rice Hotel now known as The Rice. Our studio is located at the corner of Texas St and Main St right on Metro’s Redline making easy train access for those coming from the Houston Medical Center or Downtown. We are close to Mid-town, The Heights, The Washington Avenue Coalition, Montrose, the Galleria, Post Oak, Spring Branch, Memorial City, River Oaks, Spring Valley, and easily accessible to those commuting from Katy, Missouri City, Pearland, La Porte, Clearlake, Cinco Ranch, Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Humble, Kingwood, Sugarland, Conroe,and more…

If traveling into downtown Houston makes you nervous, don’t be. We have complimentary front door valet and concierge services to make your arrival effortless and seamless. You don’t have to worry about the hassle of finding parking just pull right up to our front door.
