Hi there, I’m CHRISSY GUTHRIE
A beauty and boudoir photographer based in Houston, Texas.
Hello, I’m Chrissy and I have been photographing women beautifully for over a decade. I’m a girls-girl who believes all women are uniquely beautiful and perfect in their own way and every woman should see her unique beauty captured in portraiture at least once in her lifetime.
Celebrities aren’t the only people who should be captured beautifully with their lives documented by a professional photographer…that is why I study under the worlds BEST mentors and photographers, constantly working to perfect my craft, unlock new dynamic ways of posing, instructing, and photographing women so that they have a documented legacy that proves they were and are an iconic LEGEND that roamed this wonderful planet we have a short time on.

My Story
I want to tell you I’ve always been obsessed with photography and give you this story of how I have always been this amazing photographic prodigy but the truth is I stumbled into photography on pure accident. It started with trying to take better pictures of product for my old Etsy shop and spiraled out of control into a pure obsession. I just couldn’t put the camera down or stop learning how to be better.
I started practicing on family and friends just to get better and learned I had a talent the just grew like wildfire. I started as a Glamour and Headshot photographer and wound up in boudoir after colleagues kept telling me I was natural with posing women and capturing the female form….I am glad I listened because today I am blessed to have one of the top boudoir studios in Houston.
My Photography Style
My photography style is more on the artistic side. I consider myself an artist first and above all. You”ll notice I swing more to the pretty and ultra femme side of boudoir and I am a sucker for a vintage style with black and white, lots of grain, and sometimes I love a soft focus or motion blur.
I stay more classic and timeless with my work and shy away from trendy. While trendy is fun and cute in the moment, I am more concerned with creating timeless works of art that are iconic and never going out of style.
