Why did you want to do boudoir?
I wanted to do a boudoir session for several reasons. I lost myself after I lost my first born son. He was 22 and got in a car accident 10 days before Christmas. I let everything go on myself because it was a struggle to just breathe every day. Six years later, I am reclaiming myself and living life, exactly like my son would want me to do. That’s how he lived. I lost weight and started taking care of myself and I am about to turn 50!! It was the perfect time! It was about doing something for ME and stepping out of my box. Best decision EVER!!!
What were your fears about doing a boudoir session?
One of my biggest fears was that I would not be able to pull off the facial expressions to not look stupid. But another fear was would I be able to get in such intimate attire in front of someone I did not know and pull this off. Chrissy takes all those fears and doubts away. All you have to do is trust her!!
Once you did your session, how did you feel?
Once I did my session, I felt so liberated! I put all my fears and insecurities aside and did something so bold and out of my comfort-zone. The experience alone was worth it! The pictures were an added bonus.
What was it like working with Chrissy?
Chrissy was amazing! It was honestly like working with a long-time friend. That’s how comfortable she makes you feel. She made me feel gorgeous and glamorous and confident. She’s definitely inspirational throughout the entire process.
What was the best part of your session?
The best part of the session was how the experience and Chrissy made me feel inside and how it changed the way I look and feel about myself.
Where did you get your outfits?
I got my outfits from Victoria Secret and Nordstrom Rack online.
What would tell anyone who was afraid to take the plunge?
I would tell anyone who was afraid to take the plunge to just do it! It’s an experience you will not regret. In choosing Chrissy, you have chosen the best and there is nothing to fear. She will guide you through everything, and you will be amazed at what you can do, how beautiful you are, and how great you will feel about yourself. Book it!!
Lastly, what is your best tip for any woman wanting to book a boudoir session?
Book! Don’t wait! There is no better time than right now. Excuses will always surface to try to stop “scary” or “uncomfortable” decisions, but this one is a must do! Chrissy is the right person to make this go smooth and provide you with an experience you didn’t even know you needed!
